ENDEGS carries out the first inland barge degassing after official commissioning of the degassing site in the Port of Duisburg

Amelinghausen, Pförring, Duisburg, Germany, April 17, 2024 – ENDEGS GmbH, as a brand company of the ETS Group and international expert in industrial emission reduction and degassing, has received the approval for a barge degassing site in the Port of Duisburg in the fourth quarter of 2023 in accordance with the BImSchG (Federal Immission Control Act). Since the summer of 2018, vessels have already been degassed throughout the port area. Four years ago, ENDEGS GmbH then leased a permanent site in the Port of Duisburg, the largest inland port in the world, and initiated the corresponding approval procedures to legalize the first degassing site for shipping on the Rhine. Now that the site for inland barge degassing has also been officially put into operation, motor tankers and gas tankers can be degassed on the site on the Rhine in compliance with ADN.

Pförring, Germany, Amsterdam/Netherlands, July 20, 2023 – ENDEGS Group, an expert in industrial emissions reduction, has recently been involved in the recovery of a damaged ship in the Port of Amsterdam. As a result of a strong storm, two vessels had collided on the Dutch coast. One of the two ships was loaded with LNG and was severely damaged following the collision. To enable the maintenance work in the shipyard, ENDEGS provided two mobile vapor combustion units to empty the tanker of LNG.

Pförring/Leiferde, Germany, December 01, 2022 – ENDEGS GmbH, an expert in industrial emissions reduction and control, has been involved in an emergency operation in Germany over the past few days to recover four damaged railcars between Hanover and Berlin. The company provided a mobile nitrogen plant including operating staff. On November 17, two freight trains had collided near the city of Gifhorn. One train contained the dangerous, highly flammable gas propane.

The TOP 100 innovator seal is awarded annually; the award is based on a scientific selection process that examines the innovative strength of medium-sized companies. ENDEGS was recognized as a TOP 100 innovator 2022 in size class A (up to 50 employees) and already received the award in the previous year. At the German SME Summit, science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar, as mentor of the innovation competition, personally congratulated ENDEGS on being named a TOP 100 innovator 2022.
