Award as TOP 100 Innovator 2021

Success at TOP 100: Ranga Yogeshwar congratulates ENDEGS

Pförring, Germany/Überlingen, Germany, December 09, 2021 – ENDEGS GmbH, an expert in industrial decarbonization, has been named TOP 100 Innovator 2021. The seal honors innovative medium-sized enterprises. In the scientific selection process, ENDEGS was especially convincing in size class A (up to 50 employees) in the categories “innovation-promoting top management” and “innovation climate”. Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar is mentoring the innovative competition that is being held for the 28th time and congratulated the company with a personal video.

On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the TOP 100 innovation competition, innovation researcher Professor Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examined ENDEGS’ innovative strength. The researchers used around 120 test criteria from five categories as a basis: innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.

“It is a great honor for the entire ENDEGS team to be among the TOP 100 Innovators 2021. The award confirms us in continuing to follow the path of innovation in the future”, says Kai Sievers, founder & CEO of ENDEGS. “Our colleagues learn what can be done better every day while working for our customers. We provide them the space in a good atmosphere they need to let innovation emerge from their ideas.”

The TOP 100 company portrait published on the occasion of the award states (excerpt):

The fact that ENDEGS was founded in 2007 is in itself an innovation as companies specializing in the decarbonization of industrial containers did not yet exist in this form at this time. CEO Kai Sievers drives innovation projects in his company with a clear mission: less emission in the air, active environmental protection, occupational safety and a good innovation climate in the workforce. In 2008, he and his small team in Pförring, Upper Bavaria, developed the world’s first autonomous chamber for the combustion of gaseous pollutants: the mobile station is simply brought to the tank by trailer and installed in compliance with regulations. It burns the gases at almost 100 percent.

The patented system even burns highly hazardous ammonia with excellent measurement results and is now reliably used in more than 1,300 projects in 14 countries in Europe und North Africa. It is, for example, used in oil refineries, industrial parks and on ships – in fact, wherever toxic and explosive gas mixtures must not be released into the air without further ado.
